The Remco Keijzer Quintet has been through many incarnations in the last several years, having appeared at major clubs, concerts and festivals around Europe, Australia and Asia. The present edition is one of the finest, featuring the superb rhythm section of pianist Dan Gassin, guitarist Hugh Stuckey, bassist Tom Lee and drummer Darryn Farrugia; each outstanding in their own right. Together they've taken their original music to another level. Expanding upon a simple beat or vibration, they allow their energy to swallow the moment rather than a slight chewing of the old school jazz scene.
